Salmon

Choice pieces of salmon are inspected for quality and packed in glass jars. It is packed either salted (360 mg per jar), no added salt, or smoked flavored. (The Smoked Salmon has a light smoke taste that enhances the natural flavor of the salmon.)

Ugashik Wild Salmon Co. is a continuation of a family owned business, Briggs Way Company. The company started in 1961 and was for years, the only processor of glassed salmon in Alaska. Our salmon contains no preservatives or chemicals and has been tested by Accu Chem Lab in Richardson TX. These tests can detect chemical contaminates down to 10 parts per billion. All tests were negative. Individuals who are extremely chemically sensitive tolerated both the salted and non-salted salmon.

Caviar Pate

Smoked Salmon Caviar Pate is a completely new product available only via mail order from Ugashik Wild Salmon Co. It is a salt preserved product made from ground salmon eggs delicately seasoned with just the right amount of natural smoke flavors.
